Wheel Whore

I was looking through some old photos today and realised just how many sets of wheels I've owned over the last few years.

Modena something split rims - these were 17x8 or something weak and came on my S14. I sprayed them green after seeing Mark Arcenal's D-Unit S14 rocking the green J-Line wheels.

Enkei Speedlines. 17x9J+22 - I loved these wheels! I ran one into a kerb street drifting and had it repaired then sold them on.

Racing Sparco Pythons - 17x9+22 - I bought these cheap on Ebay as a set of 3. They used stupid internal drive nuts which I didn't trust.

My first set of R33 GTR wheels - I still love GTR's on everything except R33 GTR's! Sprayed them green, they looked cool on my black S14.

Enkei RP-01 - 18x9+22 - Didn't actually even get round to fitting these. Bought them cheap and sold them expensive.

My second set of R33GTR's, sprayed bright white. Seen here with +25mm H&R spacers all round.

Advan AVS Model 5 - I had 5 of these, they came on my PS13. 17x9+22.

Work Rezax - 17x8+10 and 17x9+10 - nice offsets and good dish despite being narrow on the front. Needed a tidy up but I sold them on to Quail as I was too lazy. I know he sold them on too, wonder if they ever made it onto a car?

Rota Torque - 17x9.5+12 - I bought 6 of these as my competition wheels. Cheap, easily replaceable and not bad looking. Still have 4 today.

Work Euroline - 18x9+7 and 18x10+4 - Swapped these for my FC3S, always wanted some Euroline so had to be done! Still have these - fate undecided.

Origin DNA02 - 17x9.5+15 - My new competition wheels. I have 8 of these and I'm soon to order 4 more in 18".

Work Rezax - 18x11+13 and 18x12.5+19 - the daddies. Bought from Yahoo Japan. Will probably sell these on but I NEED to try them on the S13 first.

So yeah, I like wheels :)

I've decided I don't like them. They are coming off the car until the kit and fenders arrive. If I still don't like them I'm selling them.

Wide FC3S

Phil from Team Green stopped by for some running repairs on his freshly painted FC3S last night. This car is so ridiculously wide on the road.


GP Sports kit, front and rear overfenders - 5Zigen FNO1R-C 17x10 et+35 with 38mm spacers rear, Kakimoto 17x9ET+22 front.

Update

OK so its been ages since I updated this. I've not really done much to the PS13, can't find the motivation at the moment but hopefully I'll blitz it soon. Still waiting on all my parts from Japan is bugging me. I need some good news!

Makes me think twice about spraying my car grey, maybe a bright colour would work better?

Pulled the car into the workshop to start doing a few bits to it. Mostly need to get the new dashboard in and get the interior painted.

I also removed the loom for the climate control to chop it up and extenderate it at home for the relocation in the armrest. No pictures, wires aren't sexy.

I try and only photograph sexy stuff. That is all.
